Feedback from Our Troops

Peacekeeper Support Network is proud of what we've been able to do for our men and women in harms way. Here are some of the letters that we've received thanking us for our efforts.

Feedback from Our Troops - Peacekeeper Support Network

Jim,

My Marines and I would like to humbly thank you for the packages you sent us. It's comforting to know that there is an organization out there whose sole purpose is to make the lives of people overseas easier. Many people who are not in the military may not realize that funding is a major issue for different branches and units in the military. Some guys are fortunate and are able to get the gear they need, and with any luck, have it actually work. However, I've been in the Marines for over 7 years now, and the gear situation for us has always been 'deal with what you have and make it work'. Although things have changed drastically within the last couple years (for the better), the availability and lack of certain items still remains a tribulation we're often forced to deal with.

The lights were an amazing surprise. I am the NCOIC of a small tactical refueling point, and because of our location and mission, our supply was not able to provide us with any sort of light to illuminate the fuel farm at night. The only things we're armed with at night are our cheap 'moonbeams' that only work about half the time. The lights have not only provided us a way for us to safely run our fuel farm at night, it's also been a positive identifier for the vehicles coming in at night who have a hard time locating us. It's amazing, but it's the little things (like surefire lights) that can make the biggest difference in conducting a mission.

My Marines and I would also like to thank you for the glasses you provided. The guys here have dubbed them the "J-Lo Goggles". We make the people who forget their eye protection wear these, and it makes for a good laugh.

The knife sharpening kit couldn't have come at a better time. I've been using this awesome knife for about 3 months now, and it's been able to take all the abuse I've thrown at it. Although it's been able to hold up reasonably well, it still needs maintenance, and up until I received your package I wasn't able to do anything about it. Now I've got a nice edge back on it, and it's almost like it was brand new. Like I said, it's the little things that mean the most...

We're all very appreciative for what you do and what your company stands for.

Thank you and Semper Fi,
